Thank you very much for this great information. You are correct....it is not that difficult.
Just when I thought I was doing AOK, I got hit with this. If you have a moment and can offer any assistance, that would be fantastic!
The issue now is, what "triggers" the database to auto-generate an email. I admit, I didn't think this through properly before I posted my first question. The database has a few hundred records. I was asked that if a record has not been updated in a certain amount of time, then an email would go out. So, this means I am asking if there is a way for someway to have the database go through every record in the database (say, once a day) and look for a date field I will add to the form that will monitor when the record is opened (and edited/worked on), if that field is over say two weeks old, then an email is auto generated to be sent out to the record owner as a reminder
I understand how to do everything except how to go through every record once a day and check if a particular field is over two weeks from present day.
As I said, I know I am asking a doosie of a question, but if you could offer any advice, that would be very much appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
Dean
